About the Role:This position requires a skilled and experienced registered nurse to provide advanced nursing care, patient and staff education, and quality assurance monitoring in an ambulatory care setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical operations and nursing education, with proven expertise in implementing and refining workflows and conducting mock drills to ensure staff competency.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the implementation of clinical workflows and conduct mock drills to ensure staff competency
- Provide education and continuous training to nursing staff, ensuring they are proficient in patient care practices and protocols
- Support and guide nurses in managing patients with high-risk and chronic conditions, ensuring they have the resources and skills needed to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Collaborate with the clinical team to create, update, and review policies and procedures specific to ambulatory care
- Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and orientation of nursing staff
- Conduct environment-of-care clinical audits to ensure regulatory compliance
- 6 months of full-time professional registered nursing experience
- Previous experience with developing and improving clinic operations, streamlining clinic workflows, managing resources efficiently, implementing quality assurance initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Experience with staff training and collaboration, designing and conducting training programs, and fostering collaboration among healthcare providers and administrative staff
- Current, valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California
- Current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Intermediate skills using Microsoft Word and Excel
