Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Ventura County Health Care Agency. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting medical examinations, and making diagnoses. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and make diagnoses
  • Prescribe medications and treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment as needed
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and families
  • Work effectively with inter-professional staff to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Requirements
  • Master's or higher degree in nursing or a clinical field related to nursing
  • Current valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California Board of Registered Nursing
  • Current valid Nurse Practitioner Certificate issued by the State of California Board of Registered Nursing
  • Valid, active DEA license number
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI) number
  • At least 6 months of full-time Nurse Practitioner experience
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively. The Nurse Practitioner will be required to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
