The Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management. This role encompasses the management of inventory and tools, including their movement, stocking, re-stocking, and precise accounting for each item across various warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the inventory control team, ensuring alignment with established standard operating procedures.
  • Develop, standardize, and document best practices and workflows for inventory management.
  • Ensure adherence to standard inventory movement and control protocols based on operational workflows.
  • Assess, enhance, and provide insights on critical areas such as bin and location sizing, labeling, inventory adjustments, cycle counts, and management of aged inventory.
  • Train and mentor inventory support teams to ensure compliance with SOPs.
  • Manage team feedback and clarify job expectations.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to optimize processes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in transportation, warehousing, distribution, technology/electronics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in a managerial capacity.
  • Comprehensive understanding of inventory control processes, including cycle counting, physical inventory execution, receiving, and variance reconciliation.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on a quarterly basis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
