Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required.
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Certification from an accredited provider is mandatory.
  • Preferred: One year of direct patient care experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant will assist in implementing treatment plans for patients. Responsibilities include performing designated physical therapy procedures, documenting patient responses to treatment, and reporting outcomes to the supervising therapist. The role also involves integrating the hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practices.
