Nephrology Care Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Nephrology Care Specialist to join our team. This role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure effective treatment and rehabilitation of patients with kidney disease.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Develops and implements individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Maintains accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborates with colleagues to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and process efficiency.
Requirements

To be successful as a Nephrology Care Specialist, you will need:

  • A current RN license and BLS certification.
  • At least 9 months of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in acute dialysis or ICU settings.
  • Familiarity with hemodialysis equipment and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000-$90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
