PART-TIME JANITOR | GANA-A'YOO SERVICES CORPORATION
POSITION SUMMARY
Gana-A'Yoo Services Corporation is in search of a part-time Janitor to maintain cleanliness and order within our facilities. This role involves performing extensive cleaning tasks, including but not limited to, maintaining floors, deep cleaning carpets, washing walls and windows, and disposing of waste.
WORK SCHEDULE
Average work hours range from 8 to 12 hours weekly. Flexibility in scheduling is available, with tasks to be completed during weekdays between 8 AM and 5 PM. The workload can be accomplished in a single day or distributed across several days.
COMPENSATION
The hourly wage for this position is $17.20, complemented by a Health and Welfare fringe of $4.41 per hour worked, resulting in a combined pay rate of $21.61 per hour. Additional benefits include paid vacation after one year of service and paid sick leave.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain cleanliness of building floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Collect and dispose of trash efficiently.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
- Service and maintain restrooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked.
- Dust and clean furniture, walls, machinery, and equipment.
- Polish and maintain furniture and fixtures.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Capacity to lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push, pull, stoop, bend, or stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in janitorial services is preferred.
