We are seeking a distinguished scholar with expertise in literacy and reading to join our faculty as an Associate or Full Professor. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant and inclusive environment that values interdisciplinary research and collaboration.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of research excellence focused on reading/literacy from an interdisciplinary perspective. They will recognize the areas of convergence among different perspectives on literacy instruction and research, appreciate the value of both quantitative and qualitative research, and advance research to inform educational policy in a linguistically rich society.

Our ideal candidate will be an accomplished scholar with a strong record of securing external grants to support their research program. They will also be an excellent mentor and demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching in one or more of the following areas: reading assessment and instruction in general and special education classrooms; research methods in reading research; teacher preparation in reading/literacy; and current issues in research on reading.
