Position Summary:
The Senior Marketing Manager for the US market is tasked with enhancing healthcare professional (HCP) marketing initiatives and facilitating successful product launches. This role involves implementing promotional strategies and marketing activities tailored for the launch phase.
The individual in this position collaborates extensively with various departments, including sales, medical affairs, and market access, to develop a cohesive launch strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Marketing Manager plays a vital role in executing the HCP marketing strategy. Responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic support and operational oversight for key marketing initiatives.
- Leading the development and execution of promotional materials from concept to production.
- Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and maximize strategic efforts.
- Participating in key scientific conferences to drive communication goals and enhance brand visibility.
- Managing budgets and coordinating promotional agency activities related to marketing initiatives.
- Building and maintaining productive relationships with internal stakeholders, including Medical Affairs, Legal, Regulatory, Finance, and Sales.
- Completing all required training and fulfilling additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A BA/BS degree; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 4-5+ years of experience in HCP marketing within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors, with a preference for candidates with launch experience.
- Strong strategic, collaborative, and tactical marketing capabilities.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adeptness in adapting and executing plans in a dynamic environment.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in dermatology or biologics is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 25%).
