Position Summary:
The Automotive Technician role is a vital position within our organization, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities. This role is compensated hourly, reflecting the needs of our operations. Technicians are tasked with performing essential vehicle diagnostics and executing routine maintenance and repair services in alignment with our high standards and manufacturer guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough vehicle diagnostics to accurately identify necessary repairs.
  • Execute our comprehensive Courtesy Inspection process on every vehicle, documenting and communicating any additional services or repairs needed.
  • Assist in managing inventory, including the handling of tires and parts, as well as stocking supplies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Adhere to safety protocols during service delivery, including compliance with all operational standards.
  • Perform test drives in accordance with established procedures, ensuring adherence to traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Stay updated with technical knowledge through required training and certifications.
  • Utilize and maintain all equipment safely, following manufacturer guidelines.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of automotive training or equivalent experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Preferred ASE certification and relevant state inspection licenses.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Required to have a basic set of tools or participate in the company’s tool purchase program.
