Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of automotive paint finishes to evaluate their quality, appearance, and adherence to specifications.

Utilize tools such as paint thickness gauges, color meters, gloss meters, and visual assessment to measure and evaluate paint quality.

Ensure that automotive paint finishes meet established quality standards, both in terms of appearance and performance.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspection results, including photographs and detailed descriptions of defects or non-conformities.

Report findings to supervisors, production teams, or other relevant stakeholders, and provide recommendations for corrective actions or process improvements.

Monitor the automotive painting process to identify potential sources of defects or variations.

Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment regularly to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Identify the root causes of paint defects or non-conformities and work collaboratively with production teams, engineers, and paint suppliers to resolve issues.

Analyze data, conduct experiments, and implement corrective actions to improve paint quality and minimize defects.

Provide guidance and training to production personnel on proper paint application techniques, defect identification, and quality control procedures.
