Job Overview:

  • Schedule: Full-time, variable shifts
  • Starting Pay Range: $26.01
  • Shift Differentials: Available for night, weekend, and additional shifts

Role Summary:
The Electroencephalographic Technologist is responsible for conducting diagnostic EEG testing, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate results. This role is vital in supporting our diagnostic radiology team in identifying and treating various neurological conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform EEG tests and assist in related procedures.
  • Recognize and respond to cardiac rhythmic abnormalities, initiating CPR when necessary.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot EEG software and equipment.
  • Document and maintain logs for statistical and reporting purposes.
  • Support Quality Assurance initiatives and adhere to infection control standards.
  • Identify and mitigate artifacts in EEG readings.
  • Collaborate with attending physicians for result analysis and interpretation.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year as an EEG Technologist.
  • CREDENTIALS: Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T.) - ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation required.

Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, and lifting of light objects. Ability to communicate effectively and respond to auditory signals. Occasional lifting of heavier items and patient assistance may be required.
