Position Overview:
As an Electroencephalographic Technologist, you will play a vital role in our diagnostic team, performing essential EEG testing and contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of various neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and assist in various diagnostic procedures, including EEGs.
  • Recognize and respond to cardiac rhythmic abnormalities, ensuring timely notification of appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot EEG software, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Keep accurate logs for statistical and reporting purposes.
  • Assist in quality assurance monitoring and adhere to infection control standards.
  • Identify and correct artifacts in EEG readings.
  • Maintain EEG equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for use.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year as an EEG Technologist.
  • CREDENTIALS: Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T.) - ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation required.

Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, and lifting, with the ability to carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Regular use of vision and hearing for patient interaction and equipment monitoring.

Work Environment:
This position involves variable shifts and requires a commitment to maintaining a safe and alert working state.
