Position Overview:

The Linen Technician is responsible for ensuring the timely distribution of clean linen to various units and departments, maintaining adequate linen supplies as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Deliver clean linen to designated units and departments.
  • Restock linen supplies according to established par levels.
  • Maintain cleanliness of linen delivery carts as necessary.
  • Document delivery times and quantities of linen provided.
  • Input delivery data into the designated software system.
  • Collect soiled linen from units and departments, recording the time and location.
  • Order linen from the laundry service on a daily basis.
  • Complete daily paperwork related to linen distribution.
  • Restock and manage scrub dispensing equipment daily.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.
  • Background screening and drug testing are mandatory.
