Traffic Signal Technician

The Town of Farragut is seeking a skilled Traffic Signal Technician to join our team. As a key member of our public works department, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our traffic signal systems, ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic throughout the town.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair traffic signal systems, including troubleshooting and identifying problems
• Install, service, and repair lighting fixtures, electrical panels, outlets, and wiring
• Operate power hand tools and specialized electrical equipment
• Construct and maintain service equipment, reading electrical circuit diagrams as needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Three (3) years experience in Traffic Signal Maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid driver's license in the State of Tennessee
• IMSA Traffic Signal Level I or II Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
