Facility Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Consulate Health Care of Williamsburg. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.
  • Assist with all repairs, preventative maintenance, refurbishing projects, and furniture/equipment moving.
  • Maintain the facility ground.
  • Ensure that the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.
  • Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills, as requested.

Requirements:

  • Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years' experience as a building trade helper, apprentice or equivalent preferred.
  • You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
