Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team at Penn State Health Life Lion. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for administering advanced life support care on 911 emergency incidents and during transportation of patients.

Responsibilities
  • Administer advanced life support care on 911 emergency incidents and during transportation of patients
  • Responsible for the care and transportation of patients in emergency situations
  • Collaborate with emergency medical technicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical advancements
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Paramedic or PHRN in the Commonwealth of PA or eligible for and completion of reciprocity process, if certified in another state
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 30 days of start date
  • Valid Driver's license or eligible for a Commonwealth of PA driver's license if out of state
  • PA DOH EMSVO certification within 30 days of start date
  • HazMat Awareness Training and NIMS (100, 200, 700, 800) required within 30 days of start date
  • Must obtain Medical Command within 90 days of start date
