Job Overview

As a Medical Assistant at OI Infusion, you will serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including the Medical Director, Practice/Office Manager, and practice staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • · Manage patient flow, including checking in and rooming patients, taking vital signs, and monitoring patient labs and last MD appointments.
  • · Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) to access patient information and update records as necessary.
  • · Assist with daily management and inventory reconciliation, ensuring accurate and efficient operations.
  • · Communicate effectively with patients, nursing staff, and providers, including scheduling appointments and completing daily appointment reminder calls.
  • · Prepare patient charts and scan/upload documents as needed.

Requirements:

  • · 2-3 years of related experience and/or training in a similar medical practice/field.
  • · Current BLS, AHA, or CPR certification for healthcare.
  • · Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive and proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • · Licensed medical assistant or equivalent experience.
  • · Experience with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
