Job Summary

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Behavioral Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Specialist, you will work with individuals with special needs to develop and implement positive behavior support plans.

Responsibilities
  • Observe participants in various settings and collaborate with their families and teams to develop and implement behavior support plans.
  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
  • Provide training to staff, participants, and their families on the implementation of behavior support plans.
  • Complete required paperwork, including data collection, progress reporting, and annual planning materials.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with Autism and/or other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or a Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License.
  • Completed training in conducting and using FBAs, and post-test certification.
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance for vehicle(s) used to provide services.
  • Clean driving record and ability to complete and pass required background checks.
