About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at GKN Aerospace. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in the design and development of our cutting-edge aerospace products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technical solutions and compliance documentation to ensure they meet all relevant customer, regulatory, and airworthiness requirements.
  • Support the creation of technical solutions against customer requirements as input to bids and proposals.
  • Identify and assess technical risk for own work and propose mitigations.
  • Develop designs compliant to cost and manufacturing requirements using appropriate techniques.
  • Generate assigned project deliverables, documents, and reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • 3+ years of relevant design experience using CAD software such as UG, NX, or Catia.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
