Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Abbott Laboratories. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of quality and compliance requirements between multiple quality systems and sites.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with internal Abbott teams and third-party manufacturers to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement quality systems and processes to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct quality audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training and guidance to colleagues on quality systems and processes.
- Travel up to 10% of the time to support organizational goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Life Sciences, plus 6+ years of related work experience.
- Strong understanding of quality systems and regulatory requirements for medical devices.
- Experience working with data analysis and risk management.
- Knowledge of applicable US and non-US quality system requirements and other relevant regulations for medical devices.
- Ability to form and develop interpersonal relationships and display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.
- Ability to work independently and in groups, and prioritize tasks and projects.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to lead without direct authority.
