Supplier Quality Assurance Manager

At SUEZ - Water Technologies & Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of externally supplied materials in support of customer projects and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the quality of externally supplied materials, including the disposition of supplier non-conformances and issuance/management of Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR).
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and external suppliers to determine the feasibility of designs for manufacturability at external vendors.
  • Perform root cause analysis, involving engineering and other key departments, for supplier non-conformance issues.
  • Audit current suppliers to evaluate risk by monitoring changes in management, key personnel, and process changes.
  • Support the development of new and existing suppliers by improving their quality Management systems to improve overall part and documentation quality.
  • Collaborate with internal manufacturing to optimize monitoring solutions for incoming supplied material.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in reading and deciphering engineering drawings and other related industrial specifications.
  • Practical experience with special processes (welding, casting, molding, etc.).
  • Ability to work with suppliers to manage relationships, supplier performance, and product conformance.
  • Ability to drive technical discussions with internal and external teams and suppliers in each of the manufacturing/installation sites as defined per project.
  • Ability to analyze data to support root cause analysis and informed decision-making.
