Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate bed assignments for inpatients and outpatients, adhering to established protocols and criteria.
- Collaborate with nursing teams to ensure accurate patient placements and efficient bed utilization.
- Maintain detailed records in our registration system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including nursing teams and departmental leadership.
- Stay up-to-date with changing healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Proficient with computer applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
This role requires manual dexterity for typing and computer use. Strong communication skills are essential for success in this position. Reporting relationships to departmental leadership may include supervisory duties.
