We are seeking a highly experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Hays Recruitment. Key Responsibilities- Create a comprehensive master program and schedule for capital improvement projects, including budget and cost estimates, and work timetables.
- Review and assess construction contracts, ensuring compliance with budget and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, general contractors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor and report project progress and budget to the HOA board, seeking approval as necessary.
- Maintain day-to-day operations of the property, including delegating or completing maintenance orders to the maintenance team.
- Develop and implement reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff.
- Collaborate with building owners and upper management on budgeting for minor property needs.
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, including offices, conference rooms, parking lots, and outdoor recreation spaces.
- 10+ years of experience in facilities or property management, capital improvement, or construction services.
- Proficient understanding and expertise in multifamily condominiums, apartments, or townhomes.
- Leadership qualities and experience in mentoring and delegating tasks to employees.
- Strong business acumen and ability to communicate and develop relationships with multiple vendors.
- Ability to conduct daily property walkthroughs.
- Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
- Base salary up to $140k, evaluated on experience.
- Discretionary end-of-year bonus.
- Yearly salary review with discretionary raise.
