We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at 52TEN in Bryan, TX.

About the Role:

  • As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep of our properties.
  • You will work closely with our on-site manager to ensure that all maintenance requests are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring vendor projects, performing capital improvement projects, and communicating with the on-site manager to repair rental unit maintenance requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Maintenance & Repair
  • Basic Prep of home sites for new residents
  • Basic maintenance of park water and sewer lines
  • Maintain common area landscape, clean up, weed control, and general maintenance
  • Assist with Maintenance of vehicles and equipment
  • Repair and replace plumbing fixtures
  • Operate equipment such as power saws, drills, paint sprayers, sewer augers, and various hand tools required for carpentry, plumbing, and maintenance work
  • Monitor all vendor projects to ensure work quality and safety
  • Performing various capital improvement projects throughout the property
  • Communicate with the on-site manager to repair rental unit maintenance requests

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician for apartments, RV Resort, or mobile home communities
  • Pass a background check
  • Ability to follow written and oral instruction
  • Valid driver's license and have your own transportation
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more
  • Ability to use online task management software
