About the Role

Carroll University is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Graduate Admission Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our admissions team, you will play a critical role in identifying and recruiting top talent to our graduate programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet targeted enrollment goals.
  • Manage prospective students throughout the enrollment process, ensuring a seamless experience from application to matriculation.
  • Represent Carroll University at external recruitment events, promoting our graduate programs to a diverse range of audiences.
  • Collaborate with program directors to prepare application credentials and make admission decisions.
  • Counsel applicants on the financial aid process and provide guidance on financing options for graduate students.
  • Participate in Open House and other Admission Office events, showcasing the university's commitment to social justice and diversity.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree, with a master's preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales or recruiting, with a background in private higher education admission a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use University software to create and maintain student admissions records.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with a client-focused sense of urgency and responsiveness.
