Role Summary

National University of Natural Medicine seeks an experienced Naturopathic Doctor to serve as an Adjunct Clinical Faculty member in our College of Naturopathic Medicine. As a clinical educator, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in a clinical setting, ensuring they meet educational objectives and develop essential skills for a successful career in natural medicine.

Responsibilities

Attract and manage a diverse patient base for assigned students, allowing them to meet educational objectives.Comply with applicable standards, rules, regulations, and laws related to clinical practice.Practice in a manner consistent with professional standards and expectations.Model best practices in clinical and business management.Manage a diverse population of students in clinical learning environments.Attend regular clinical faculty meetings.

Scholarship and Professional Development

Maintain current credentials and content expertise through ongoing education and training.Stay informed about new instructional technologies, teaching methods, and medical education best practices.

Requirements

ND degree from a CNME-approved college or DC degree from a CCE-approved college.Minimum of five years of successful full-time clinical practice or completion of a CNME-accredited residency.Ability to demonstrate competency in the full scope of naturopathic and/or chiropractic medical license.Familiarity with NUNM policies and procedures.Knowledge of current trends in clinical pedagogy and curriculum development.

This is a part-time position based in Portland, Oregon, and requires a strong commitment to serving the University and the natural medicine professions.
