Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team as an Employee Experience Specialist. This role will play a crucial part in shaping and enhancing the overall employee experience within our organization. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support across multiple HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to foster a positive work culture and improve employee engagement. Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to gauge employee sentiment and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviews, and job offers. Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations and onboarding processes to ensure a seamless integration of new employees.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Mediate and resolve conflicts and grievances in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Compliance & Policy Administration: Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies. Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Performance Management: Support performance management processes, including performance reviews, goal setting, and employee development plans. Provide guidance to managers on performance-related issues and improvement strategies.
  • Communication: Enhance internal communication channels to ensure employees are informed, engaged, and connected with company updates, initiatives, and changes.
  • HR Projects: Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, wellness and trauma-informed care initiatives, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on HR issues, providing guidance and support to staff across the organization. Stay informed about changes in laws, regulations, industry standards, and emerging risks that may impact business processes.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or HR certification required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in an HR generalist or similar role, with a solid understanding of HR practices and employment laws.
