Opportunity: Training Program Manager - Federal Government Contractor

Opportunity Overview

SD Solutions LLC is seeking a Training Program Manager to support a critical project with a federal agency. This role will report to the Training & Development Manager and will be instrumental in coordinating and managing various training initiatives. The Training Program Manager will focus on ensuring the effective delivery of training programs that align with client requirements. This includes planning, executing, and evaluating training sessions tailored to the needs of the staff. The position requires oversight of the training schedule, making necessary adjustments, and ensuring the quality of training materials produced.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the completion of mandatory and elective training for all personnel.
  • Coordinate the collection of training requests and facilitate their prioritization by leadership.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Subject Matter Experts to assess training needs for target audiences.
  • Assist senior management in enhancing the division's training framework and strategies.
  • Develop training resources, including case studies, presentations, eLearning modules, and manuals.
  • Review training content for accuracy and compliance with established standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive training records and ensure adherence to mandatory training requirements.
  • Draft and uphold policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide insights and support for the development of new training initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.
Requirements Overview
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven background in training design and delivery.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with PowerBI is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage various training components.
  • Proactive approach to responsibilities and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Effective communication skills for conveying complex information to diverse groups.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance.

  • Experience with diverse training methodologies.
  • Experience managing training programs for large, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Adaptability to changing environments and priorities.
  • Commitment to enhancing the customer experience.
  • Excellent public speaking and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and e-learning tools.
  • Experience in delivering virtual training.
  • Prior experience within government training and development.
