About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Family Intervention Specialist to join our team at Youth Villages. As a Family Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing in-home counseling services to at-risk youth and families, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve a more stable and fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-home counseling services to at-risk youth and families, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
  • Manage a small case load of four to six families, providing quality counseling and support to each family.
  • Meet with youth and families three times weekly to address their needs and develop a plan for success.
  • Provide after-hours support to youth and families, utilizing a rotating on-call schedule to ensure their needs are met.
  • Collaborate with youth, family, teachers, and other community members to develop a comprehensive support plan for each family.
  • Attend regular team and clinical consultation meetings to enhance clinical skills and stay up-to-date on best practices.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a social services field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology.
  • Experience working with at-risk youth and families, either in a volunteer, internship, or paid position.
  • Strong writing skills and experience with electronic documentation.
  • Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance.
  • Ability to maintain an untraditional schedule and work independently.
