As a Maintenance Technician at Solenis, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and/or repair or adjust any equipment used by the company.
  • Fabrication of parts using metal, plastic, or wood to support the company's needs.
  • Monitor and service plant support equipment such as the boiler, waste neutralization, air compressors, or water processing and outside powder silo system.
  • Assist the Plant Engineer in layouts of and purchase of new capital assets.
  • Assist in snow removal from exit doors, walks, roofs, and docks.
  • Respond to plant security and safety system needs.
  • Order parts and accessories.
  • Perform any reasonable tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in a maintenance manufacturing role.
  • Must be able to lift and stack various weights up to 55 pounds repeatedly.
  • Ability to stand for periods of up to 4 hours at a time.
  • Ability to perform repetitive bending and stretching on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to do physical work as it relates to the Maintenance/engineering needs of the production facility.
  • Organizational Skills: Must be able to take and follow directions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Problem-Solving: High degree of analysis, problem-solving, and creativity.
  • Technical Skills: Must be able to solve mathematical problems at the high school level.
  • Must also have some basic hand tool skills.
  • Honesty/Integrity: Acts with integrity.
