Role: Clinical Nurse Leader - Day Shift

Qualifications and Skills:

  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in a leadership role, with over 5 years of clinical experience
  • Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities - a passion for fostering growth in others
  • Proactive in addressing challenges and adept at problem-solving
  • Willingness to engage in various roles and responsibilities as needed

Essential Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Active Registered Nurse license in New York State
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the clinical team in managing care for all patients with clinical instability, ensuring optimal in-house care and minimizing unnecessary hospital admissions.
  • Lead the interdisciplinary team in welcoming new admissions, ensuring exceptional care and a positive initial experience for patients and families.
  • Address and resolve any clinical or administrative emergencies that may arise during the shift.
  • Provide support and guidance to staff through education and leadership, holding them accountable when necessary.
  • Act on behalf of the leadership team, delivering excellent coaching and customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff.
