Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic/Student Services Manager to join our team at the Allen School of Health Sciences.

Job Summary:

The Academic/Student Services Manager will be responsible for teaching at least one course, tracking attendance, submissions, and grades, and working closely with various departments to ensure student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adapt teaching materials and methods to facilitate student skill development.
  • Evaluate student learning and provide feedback.
  • Complete special schedules and implement communication plans with students.
  • Ensure student assimilation into the course environment.
  • Liaise with other departments to direct students to appropriate offices.
  • Maintain accurate records of course enrollment, attendance, and student progress.
  • Work closely with Career Services to ensure physicals and immunizations are completed prior to internship.

Qualifications:

  • Minimally possess a Medical Assistance Certificate or an Associate's degree in a healthcare field.
  • A bachelors, masters, or doctoral degree is preferred.
  • Current credentials in their area of expertise.
  • New York Education Department teaching license.
  • A minimum of two years of experience directly related to the areas of instruction is preferred.
  • Managerial experience preferred.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are required.
