Podiatrist Job Opportunity

Medical Director Services PC is seeking an experienced Podiatrist to provide medical services to patients in skilled nursing facilities throughout Kentucky. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in podiatric medicine and a passion for delivering high-quality care to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide essential at-risk foot care to the geriatric population
  • Diagnose, treat, or prescribe treatment of the foot, ankle, and other related structures using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results
  • Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, and appropriate methods of foot care
  • Advise patients about treatments and foot care techniques to prevent future problems
  • Record all diagnoses, treatments, and prescriptions
  • Refer patients to other physicians or specialists for consultation when necessary

Requirements:
  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from a school accredited by the Council of Podiatric Medical Education
  • Current and valid license to practice podiatric medicine in the state of application
