Nuvance Health is a network of healthcare facilities seeking a skilled Guest Services Representative to provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and supportive environment, ensuring that every interaction is positive and memorable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Relations: Greet all guests entering the lobby with a sincere greeting, exhibiting proper guest relations skills, and a positive approachable attitude with every interaction.
- Visitation Management: Monitor visiting hours and distribute computerized passes in accordance with Nuvance Health visitation policies.
- Confidentiality and Security: Adhere to all policies specific to visitor restrictions and patient confidentiality.
- Transportation and Logistics: Proactively assist guests and visitors with transportation needs, as appropriate.
- Facility Maintenance: Take the initiative to maintain a safe and attractive environment within the facility and immediate property.
- Communication: Make non-emergent overhead announcements, when requested.
- Team Collaboration: Establish and maintain efficient working relationships with supervisor, coworkers, and customers.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED and six months customer service experience.
- Language Skills: Ability to communicate in Spanish and/or Portuguese, a plus.
- Technical Skills: Basic MS Outlook, Teams, and data entry skills.
Working Conditions:
- Physical Demands: Significant manual skills/motor coordination & finger dexterity.
- Occupational Risk: Little or no potential for occupational risk.
- Effort and Weight: Sedentary/light effort, may exert up to 10 lbs. force.
- Working Environment: Generally pleasant working conditions.
