**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Nursing Supervisor to join our team at St. Luke's Health System. As a key member of our nursing administration team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our medical center, collaborating with facility leadership, and providing leadership, guidance, and counseling to staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the medical center in collaboration with facility leadership.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and counseling to staff.
- Collaborate with the Transfer Center to facilitate patient throughput and develop plans for managing patient flow.
- Assist with coordination of schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Resource and operational expert who collaborates with and supports department/organizational leadership in problem solving and utilization of resources.
- Serve as administrative authority for the smooth function of all units on assigned shift.
- Apprise leadership of operational issues and seek guidance as necessary.
- May serve as contact with members of the media, law enforcement, and other community agencies in alignment with system policies.
- Exercises considerable judgment in applying professional knowledge in solving problems within established policies and practices.
- Coordinates quality initiatives and process improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's of Nursing Degree (BSN)
- 3 years' clinical experience in assigned area
- Current RN licensure in State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
