About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Richman Property Services. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Daily Repairs and Upkeep: Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our properties, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting.
  • Prepare Vacant Units for Occupancy: Ensure that vacant units are ready for new residents, including completing any necessary repairs and cleaning.
  • Manage Service Requests: Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner, ensuring that residents' needs are met.
  • Maintain Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act, as well as other relevant regulations.
  • Oversee Inventory and Tools: Manage the inventory and care of tools and equipment, ensuring that they are in good working order.
  • Complete Required Tasks: Complete required tasks, such as training, logs, and reports, in a timely manner.
  • Uphold Company Policies: Adhere to company policies and procedures, providing exceptional customer service to residents.
  • Seek Educational Opportunities: Pursue educational opportunities for personal growth and development.
  • Assist with Preventative Maintenance: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement preventative maintenance plans.
  • Collaborate on Curb Appeal: Work with the team to maintain the curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds.
  • Perform On-Call Duties: Be available to perform on-call duties and occasional overtime as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or groundskeeper experience.
  • Skills and Certifications: EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred; valid driver's license required; proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes.
