Your primary responsibility will be to foster and enhance relationships with both current and prospective members. This involves not only acquiring new members but also retaining existing ones through effective cross-selling strategies across various banking services, including consumer lending, commercial lending, mortgage solutions, and wealth management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exemplary service to all members, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all products and services offered by the Credit Union, effectively communicating their benefits to members.
  • Address and resolve member inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly, ensuring a satisfactory resolution.
  • Build strong advisory relationships with members to deepen engagement and identify referral opportunities.
  • Accurately process transactions while safeguarding member confidentiality.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to members for sales and service enhancement.
  • Facilitate new member onboarding processes as necessary.
  • Utilize Credit Union resources and technology to enhance the member experience.
  • Handle all personal banking tasks, including account management and transaction processing.
  • Maintain accurate cash handling and drawer reconciliation.
  • Process lending applications and manage related documentation efficiently.
  • Stay informed about all Credit Union products, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Contact Center during peak call volumes.
  • Assist with digital banking inquiries and support.
  • Travel to various branch locations as required by business needs.
  • Participate in community events and Credit Union initiatives.
  • Provide Notary services as needed.
  • Achieve satisfactory ratings on internal audits and compliance checks.
  • Meet monthly loan goals while adhering to ethical standards and regulations.
  • Contribute to the Credit Union's mission by performing additional duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with two years of customer service experience, preferably in a banking context. Supervisory experience and cash handling skills are advantageous. A Notary license must be obtained within three months of hire, and NMLS-ID (Mortgage Loan Originator) certification will be provided if not already held. Bilingual candidates are preferred.
