Key Responsibilities:

The Patient Service Representative plays a crucial role in managing the front office and ensuring a welcoming environment for patients. Responsibilities include:
  • Greeting patients warmly and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Entering and verifying patient demographic information in the electronic medical record system.
  • Collecting and processing co-payments and outstanding balances.
  • Scheduling appointments accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintaining cash box and ensuring all transactions are balanced.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as faxing, copying, and report generation.
  • Completing reminder calls and managing patient follow-ups.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma.
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and customer service.
