We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Scheduling Coordinator to serve as a liaison between Midwest Vision Partners and our patients. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and efficient scheduling of appointments across all Midwest Vision Partners subsidiaries/sites. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate physician schedules to ensure seamless appointment flow
  • Reschedule appointments as needed and follow up with patients to confirm
  • Communicate with patients to resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure high-quality service
  • Prepare and distribute weekly doctor schedules to medical and surgical offices
  • Send information packets and mass mailings to patients and offices as requested
  • Ensure accurate documentation in patient records and maintain confidentiality
  • Triage calls to ensure location doctor compliance and provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills
  • Computer proficiency and experience with scheduling software
  • Minimum of 2 years of medical and/or clinical experience
