Job Summary

Osseo Area Schools is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator – Leave and Benefits to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing leave and benefits programs for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement leave and benefits policies and procedures in accordance with district and state regulations.
  • Coordinate and administer leave and benefits programs, including FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation.
  • Provide training and support to employees and managers on leave and benefits policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with payroll and benefits vendors to ensure accurate and timely processing of leave and benefits.
  • Develop and maintain reports and analytics to track leave and benefits usage and trends.
  • Provide strategic oversight and operational direction for Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) related to leave and benefits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in human resources, benefits, or leave administration.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws, regulations, and practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of database design and structure, queries, data reporting, and HR metrics.
  • Ability to design complex queries and perform batch data element functions.
