Senior Facilities Engineer

Job DescriptionThe Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a Civil Engineer for the General Construction team to interface with system and infrastructure engineering and subcontractors executing projects at the Naval Reactors Facility in Idaho. The Civil Engineer will provide technical knowledge for the development and execution of construction projects without compromising safety, reliability, quality, schedule, and cost, as part of a multi-disciplinary project team.
Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 6 years of relevant experience;
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 4 years of relevant experience;
- Currently or previously Shift Supervisor Part I qualified;
- EDO qualified and 2 years EOOW qualified in the Nuclear Operations Program;
- 3 years SRE qualified and Water Instructor and Refueling Facility Area Refueling Engineer and Fuel and Barrier Shift Supervisor (ECF only);
- SRE qualified and 6 years of experience.
- Experience in development of technical documents such as specifications, work scopes, alternative options, or contract documents;
- Experience in any of the civil engineering disciplines such as geotechnical, structural, water resources, or transportation;
- Knowledgeable of 29 CFR 1926 OSHA Construction Industry Regulations and Standards;
- Knowledgeable of Building Codes and Standards;
- Experience with software tools, i.e. Autocad, blue beam, MS Office;
- Experience with planning and executing projects.

$92,900.00 - $145,200.00 annually. Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
