As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving their personal goals and becoming self-sufficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide structure and emotional support to residents
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene and meal preparation
  • Help residents achieve their personal goals and exceed expectations
  • Transport program participants to and from medical appointments and recreation activities
  • Complete accurate and detailed documentation

Requirements:

  • Clean, valid NYS Driver's license
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Some experience working with intellectually and developmentally disabled population preferred; but will train
  • Must obtain and maintain AMAP and SCIP certifications
