SUMMARY:

Total Site Solutions is committed to delivering quality products and services on time. As a Cable Technician, you will play a crucial role in achieving this goal by ensuring that all cable installations meet the highest standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role. You must be able to report to work as scheduled and maintain a high level of attendance.
  • Technical skills and computer competencies are necessary for this position. You will be working with various tools and equipment, and must be able to operate them safely and efficiently.
  • Effective communication is critical in this role. You will be interacting with other departments, coworkers, and customers, and must be able to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Attention to detail is essential for this position. You will be working with complex cable systems, and must be able to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • You must be able to work well with little supervision, both individually and as part of a team.
  • You must be able to follow written work instructions and processes, and be able to read and understand English.
  • Some experience in routing cables is required for this position.

EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • General experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools is necessary for this role.
  • You must be able to read and interpret written work instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of blueprint design is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS

  • This role is based in an indoor manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • There is no exposure to extreme weather conditions.
  • The noise level is moderate.
  • You must be able to consistently lift less than 50 pounds.
