Job Summary: At Loma Linda University Medical Center, we seek a compassionate and skilled Radiologic Specialist to provide exceptional patient-centered care in our radiology department. As a key member of our team, you will work under the supervision of the Radiology Director to administer Roentgen rays, operate X-ray equipment, and process images. Your expertise will be essential in preparing patient rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications, as well as maintaining training and education in radiology and specific modalities.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer Roentgen rays to patients and operate X-ray equipment
  • Process images and prepare patient rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications
  • Maintain training and education in radiology and specific modalities
  • Assume full responsibility for assigned areas in the department
  • Assist in training and education of radiology department staff

Requirements:

  • Completion of an American Medical Association (AMA) accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
  • Minimum three years radiology experience; five years preferred
  • Current California Certified Radiologic Technician (CRT), California Fluoroscopy License, and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certifications
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate all appropriate radiology equipment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with patients, physicians, and co-workers
  • Ability to communicate, think critically, and effectively about complex matters with others
