Cath Lab Technologist Job Summary

The Cath Lab Technologist is a vital member of our team, responsible for performing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional invasive cardiovascular and angiographic procedures in the adult and geriatric population. This role requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate physiologic and radiographic equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Position and instruct patients for examinations
Ensure all patient care equipment is calibrated and operational capabilities are tested
Anticipate and mitigate potential safety concerns in the environment of care
Participate in educational activities, departmental committees, and other healthcare-related projects
Provide accurate clinical and billing documentation

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
Minimum six months experience in a Radiology or Interventional Radiology Lab performing diagnostic and interventional procedures
Active California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
California Fluoroscopy license
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association preferred
