Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Youth Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide individualized support and guidance to youth in our residential programs, helping them to develop essential life skills and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support and supervision to youth in our residential programs, including assistance with daily living tasks, personal care, and financial management.
  • Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with youth, providing guidance and support to help them overcome emotional, medical, and behavioral challenges.
  • Organize and participate in recreational activities and outings to promote socialization and skill-building.
  • Coordinate and assist with household activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and life skills training.
  • Provide transportation to school, appointments, and other activities as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of youth progress and program activities.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of experience working with youth at-risk or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Experience providing service to teens ages 10-18 with emotional, medical, and behavioral disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Reliable and responsible attitude, with a compassionate approach to working with youth.
