Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a seasoned architect to join our team at AppleOne. As a Residential Architect, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from design to construction documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects from the onset of design through to 100% Construction Documents.
  • Engage in hands-on design work, creating, revising, and integrating designs.
  • Coordinate with design consultants, including structural engineers and interior designers, ensuring their contributions are seamlessly incorporated into the project.
  • Present design progress to clients and manage redlines and revisions.
  • Interface directly with clients, providing strong leadership and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Produce detailed construction documents, ensuring all work adheres to building codes, structural systems, and project type standards.
  • Oversee all phases of design and construction, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in custom residential architectural design, including managing projects through all phases from Schematic Design to Construction Documents.
  • Strong background in residential or resort architecture, with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Revit is mandatory.
  • Deep knowledge of building codes, structural systems, and architectural standards specific to residential and resort projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
  • Strong presentation and client interaction skills, with the ability to make on-the-fly design revisions during interviews and meetings.
