Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our Sports Medicine Program, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our student athletes and supporting our mission to improve the health and well-being of our community.

Responsibilities
  • Provide athletic training services to student athletes, including injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and reconditioning.
  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs for student athletes.
  • Collaborate with coaches, athletic directors, and other staff members to ensure seamless care for student athletes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in athletic training to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field.
  • Current certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
  • Experience working with student athletes and in a sports medicine setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
