Company Overview: WeCare Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to deliver anesthesia services in clinical and surgical settings, catering to a diverse range of procedures for veterans. Our commitment to excellence aligns with the standards set by the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA).


Role Summary: The ideal candidate will possess a valid medical license and current board certifications, including ABA certification and BLS, ACLS, or equivalent credentials.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely attendance for scheduled clinics and surgeries, demonstrating punctuality.
  • Administer comprehensive anesthesiology services for patients undergoing various surgical procedures, including but not limited to orthopedic, plastic, ENT, urologic, and gynecological surgeries.
  • Provide primary coverage for patients in surgical intensive care, manage acute and chronic pain, and perform emergency airway management.
  • Conduct bedside consultations for non-ambulatory patients and clinic consultations for those who are ambulatory.
  • Deliver all services on-site in compliance with the specifications for veterans' care.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth.
  • Board Certification/Eligibility by ABA for CRNAs and current BLS, ACLS, or equivalent certification are mandatory.
  • Continuing education requirements for maintaining certification must be fulfilled consistently.
  • Annual documentation of current certification is required throughout the contract period.

Work Hours and Conditions:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with on-call services as needed.
  • Daily clinic or operating room schedule from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM on weekdays, with on-call coverage as required.
  • CRNAs must be present on-site to meet patient care standards and comply with regulations regarding clinic wait times.
  • CRNAs are expected to be available during normal clinic hours and provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • On-call CRNAs must be reachable within 15 minutes by phone and on-site within 60 minutes.
