HR Works' HR Administration Services team is seeking a Coordinator of Benefits and Leave Management. This role is integral to our operations, focusing on delivering comprehensive benefits and leave administration services for our clients.

Position Overview:
The Coordinator of Benefits and Leave Management plays a crucial role in assisting employees with inquiries related to benefits and leave. This includes managing questions regarding disability, family leave, COBRA, and benefits eligibility. Responsibilities encompass responding to employee inquiries via various communication channels and efficiently handling benefits and leave administration tasks, such as preparing leave documentation and following up on claims.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to employee inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Guide employees through the enrollment and leave processes, ensuring accurate completion of necessary documentation.
  • Initiate and manage new cases in the benefits administration system, preparing required paperwork for employees.
  • Maintain detailed records of all communications and case notes in the designated systems.
  • Collaborate with assigned administrators to resolve complex client issues as necessary.
  • Participate in team meetings and complete assigned training programs.
  • Provide support to team members during peak periods and cover for absences as needed.
  • Handle extended hours in the call-center queue on a rotating basis if required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in benefits and/or leave administration, with a solid understanding of HRIS systems.
  • Familiarity with various HRIS platforms is advantageous.

  • Strong computer skills with the capability to learn multiple software systems.
